Fans of the “Cut Thru” range of kits by Bothy Threads will be delighted to know that we have another two designs added to the range. Both have the usual bright colours and amazing detail.

The two new designs are Narrow Boat and Gypsy Wagon and both come complete with 14 count fabric, threads, needle, chart and instructions.

I have seen the stitched version of some of the range and they look fabulous. I wish we could show more detail on the website, but they will certainly come to life as you stitch them.

DMC have produced a new cross stitch chart booklet featuring Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger, together with some of their other friends.

There are fifty pages of large and small charts, together with ideas for using them on aprons, cushions and nursery items. There are also some ideas for games.

The “Mr Men” characters seem to be very popular again and we have a wonderful selection of kits featuring the colourful designs.

There are six different samplers, Number, Months, Alphabet, Space, Underwater and Train. These are all stitched on 14 count and would make a wonderful addition to a nursery or child’s bedroom.

There are also twelve individual kits of the Mr Men and Little Miss characters on 14 count aida and two additional kits, ideal for children to stitch on 8 count aida.

Four Christmas kits and four name plates complete the existing range.

Anchor have produced a “Quick and Easy” range of chunky cross stitch which would be a great starting point for a young stitcher, or ideal for someone who enjoys stitching but their eyesight is not what it used to be! The kits come with 4.5 count printed canvas, acrylic yarn and full instructions. There are currently three designs, Pony, Dinosaur and Rocket. These are 40cm square, and could be converted into a cushion panel.

If you like these three designs, there are matching latch hook rug kits available.

The latest Lickle Ted designs have just arrived, and they are gorgeous.

There is a Lickle Ted toy which is really soft and cuddly and only 5 inches high.

The kits include 3 summery designs, Lickle Holidays, Lickle Butterfly and Lickle Picnic. There is also First Lickle School Day (although I am sure the teacher wouldn’t approve of that spelling!). It would be a good one to stitch if you have someone starting school for the first time this year.

We have just received the first delivery of the new Baby Popcorn knitting kit and it is lovely.

The kit contains everything to knit the kit, including exclusively dyed polyester yarn, easy to follow instructions, safety eyes, fleece, felt, stranded cotton, gold heart button and adoption certificate. The height is just 20cm, seated.

Please note that knitting needles are not included.

You might be interested to know that there is now a delightful birth sampler available.

The kit is stitched on 14 count aida and includes everything needed to complete, including a choice of blue or pink threads.

There is also an alphabet and numbers to enable you to personalise it.

I really like The Acrobats design and there are also some Easy Popcorn kits which are ideal to get the younger members of the family interested in stitching.
